Why Landscapes

My work is driven by a deep connection to the outdoors and the themes that have shaped me: stillness, scale, and the power of natural spaces to shift how we feel. I’m energized by the way light transforms a landscape, the push and pull between movement and calm, and the subtle color changes that give each place its own identity. Whether I’m painting coastlines, mountain peaks, or wide, open skies, I aim to capture the impact of being there — the clarity you feel in a place that stays with you. Every painting becomes a way to push my understanding of color and composition while honoring the landscapes that continue to inspire me.
